How services are delivered
In your home, or out in the world
Some supports only make sense at home: personal care, cleaning, nursing, meal preparation. Others
are the opposite. The whole point of accompanied activities, group social support, transport and
community access is to get someone out.
We do both, and we plan them together. Staying home is not the goal in itself; staying independent
and connected is, and for most people that involves a life outside the front door as well as inside it.
Cultural and religious needs are operational, not optional
Gender-matched personal care, Arabic-speaking carers, halal shopping, adjusting a visit schedule
around prayer times, and knowing what changes during Ramadan are part of the brief a carer receives
before the first visit, not a preference noted somewhere and forgotten.
